About CARE 360
Empowering Live-in Care Workers with a Horizontal Skillset: a 24-month Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in vocational education and training.

The project
Live-in care workers (LCWs) are at the forefront of long-term care for older people and people with disabilities, yet they are one of the most neglected groups in professional care. Many are migrants and women, often working informally, with language barriers and little access to training.
CARE 360 develops a complete educational package for them. A VET course gives educators the curriculum, materials and assessment tools to train LCWs. A mobile app puts practical, illustrated guidance in the care worker's pocket, ready to use in the middle of a demanding day.
Every result is shaped together with National Expert Boards in each partner country, made up of VET educators, caregiving experts, academics and people who receive care at home. The project builds on the Erasmus+ project HERO (2020-1-CY01-KA204-066039), which trained refugees for work in elderly care, and widens it to all people who receive care at home and to a broader set of skills.
CARE 360 supports the European Skills Agenda and Principle 18 of the European Pillar of Social Rights: everyone has the right to affordable, good-quality long-term care, including home care.
